With the number of advancements in technology, pressure washers are now widely used for car washing and auto detailing. Many models are now portable and more than well suited for washing vehicles. Still, you have to be careful when selecting high pressure washers for car washing and other auto detailing jobs. Not all models are suitable for car washing. Moderate Pressure
Pressure washers are known for their high output pressure levels. However, high pressure washers are not suitable for auto car detailing. Ideally, pressure levels of the machine should be 1500 psi or lower. Anything higher can end up damaging the parts of automobiles.
Low Flow Rate
It is better to select machines with low flow rates. At present, you can find machines with flow rates at 0.5 GPM. Machines with higher flow rates use excessive amounts of water which can leave areas outdoors nearly flooded after cleaning. In the case of mobile auto detailing where professionals travel to the home or workplace of clients to clean their vehicles, this simply is not feasible. Low flow rate machines, on the other hand, are ideal in places where water availability or drainage may be limited.
Portable Machines
Mobile pressure washers make the job of cleaning workers who are involved in fleet maintenance, easier. There are two types of mobile pressure washers: wheel mounted and truck mounted.
You may select a model depending on the size and nature of cleaning process. Truck mounted machines provide better options than wheel attached ones for industrial applications covering large areas. However, for small cleaning or auto detailing companies, wheel attached portable car wash machines are sufficient.
